Okay, if you know me at all, even just a little bit, you KNOW that winter is NOT my thing! I am quite happy NOT spending time outside in winter and in fact, we lived in beautiful, sunny California for 4 glorious years and I did NOT, EVER miss snow! So this project is not a reflection of my personal sentiments about winter! 😉 However, I do think that it is a totally adorable shaker card and matching gift box. This was the second make and take provided at the Kitchener Stampin’ Up! Fall 2014 Conference!
There are just a few items that I want to highlight and these are the super cute All is Calm Snowflake Embellishment Charms, available in a 20 piece set; and the two items that are essential for making shaker cards, Clear Envelopes and Frosted Sequins.
The uber simplifiedinstructions for making a shaker card are: cut clear envelop to the size you need to cover the opening in your card front, place sequins inside the clear envelope, seal the open side, adhere the clear envelope to the back of the card front. Shake card to see the cute little sequins floating around in your card! LOVE it! But still don’t love winter! 😉
Happy Stamping and remember to inspire, create and share!
